Amazing Grace

Linda goes all in when she starts something. A group “introduction to sailing” day ultimately led to chartering around the world and owning her own boat. She dives in completely to new endeavors, which enables her to get the fullness of each experience. Knowing how to sail gives her the most amount of freedom on the water. She looks for as many educational opportunities as possible when on group trips, often pairing herself up with more experienced sailors in order to learn from leaders in the field. When she joined her sailing club, she stepped right up and became a chair member. Her skilled contributions to the club made people think she had been a member for much longer than her 2 years. While vacationing in the Caribbean, she introduced herself to the local yacht club. She began taking lessons and even won her first regatta. Her favorite sailing trip so far has been to Italy. One of the inspiring parts of that trip was having an amazing female captain who made their charter the best it could be. Linda loves the travel and the independence that this lifestyle provides and values all the friendships it has brought her.
