Julianne is a well of enthusiasm, friendship, and generosity. Between her Rainbow and her Cherubini ketch, she loves the range of adventures to be had on the water. She often invites new sailors on her excursions, opening up the doors of sailing to those who haven’t had previous exposure. Boat dog Ballast is aboard as often as possible. Her welcoming and confident attitude makes her new friends anywhere she goes. She’s been on the water since an infant, with both parents being boaters. Childhood family trips were spent on the family boat and involved clamming and fishing. Even though she didn’t fully appreciate it at the time, Julianne now recognizes how valuable and formative those trips were. Her excitement about wildlife hasn’t waned. Whether it’s saving fledglings at her dock or impromptu fish-tagging trips with the Bermudan government, Julianne loves interacting with nature. She is an incredible person both on and off the water.
