Janet went down to the water in 1974, looking for something to do for a few weeks. Not many boats were willing to take her on as a female. One boat did - the boat run by the man who would later become her husband. The marina told him that she couldn’t come back the following year, that women can’t do that job. She’s now been doing this for 46 years, and she still loves what she does.
