Her Helm is a portrait project to uplift women who are boat captains. These women love being outside. The sun and the sea call to them. They are forging their way in a culture not historically meant for them. Being in charge of their vessel is freedom to them. This project celebrates these women in boating who inspire us to feel the water and reach for the stars.
